Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Construction Tractor/Truck Driver to join a construction team. The Driver will be responsible for operating tractors/Truck and heavy equipment for various construction tasks on our job site. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and the ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and obstacles.
• Operate equipment safely, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tractors and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other contractors on the job site.
• Identify and report any issues or malfunctions with equipment promptly.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience as a Driver.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in operating driving trucks/tractors and heavy equipment for construction tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Relevant licenses or certifications for truck/tractor operation and heavy equipment operation are preferred.

Professional Certification

• HSE advantageous but not essential as we will put you through the scheme
